An open face paint booth is a spray booth enclosed on the sides and back but open at the front, drawing air across the work and out through filtered exhaust to control overspray, fumes, and odor. AEI Paint Booths builds open face booths direct from the manufacturer in standard 7', 8', 10', and 12' tall sizes — widths from 4' to 20' and depths from 5' to 15' — or custom dimensions, all built to meet NFPA 33 and OSHA. We can add crane slots or conveyor openings for material handling. Serving North America since 2003.
Open Face Paint Booths

These open face spray booths can be used for a variety of applications in addition to painting. They can be used as sanding booths, grinding booths, adhesive application booths, and more. We also offer air replacement systems to replace the air exhausted to the outside of your building.
Code Compliance:
All of our open face paint booths are designed to meet or exceed the requirements and recommendations of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Standard Number 33, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) CFR 29.1910.107 covering the operation and construction of spray booths.
Construction Features
Panels: Our paint booth panels are fabricated from 18-gauge prime quality G-90 galvanized steel. Panels are fastened together with 1/4” nuts and bolts for maximum rigidity and ease of assembly. Holes are precision CNC punched on 6” centers, this leads to true panel alignment and rigidity over time compared to using sheet metal screws. Pre-punched holes assure true panel alignment.
LED Lighting: Lighting is provided by 48” long, 4-tube. All fixtures are ETL listed and approved for their intended use and placement. Fixtures are supplied to accept either 120V or 277V power.
Filtration: Our paint booth exhaust air filters are fiberglass paint arrestor pads made specifically for the collection of paint over spray. These filters are UL rated as Class 2. A filter holding grid is provided for each filter cell. This unit is provided with one set of filters and one manometer.
Exhaust: Tube axial type duct fan(s) specifically designed and constructed for use in spray booths and similar applications is provided for exhaust. A precision balanced, fabricated, aluminum non-sparking fan blade moves the air through the fan. Bearings are permanently lubricated and mounted in rubber isolators for smooth operation. The motor, drive and bearings are isolated from the exhaust air stream.
